Cheek Fillers

Cheeks Ageing Curve

What are dermal fillers for cheeks?

Dermal fillers are made from naturally occurring Hyaluronic acid.  When injected into the correct areas of the cheek, they can make the face look fuller, more lifted/ sculpted and more youthful.

Dermal fillers can also be used to balance proportion sizes or improve areas of asymmetry on the face.

Do I need filler in my cheeks?

For ageing: The mid face which includes the cheeks, is the first area to lose volume and show the first signs of aging.  This can lead to flatter cheeks and face, lack of volume in the mid-face which can increase lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth area.  By treating the midface and cheeks first, patients can maintain a youthful appearance and reduce the secondary sagging effects that take place around the mouth and lower face area.

For sculpting: Many patients wish to have fillers in their cheeks to increase the volume and shape of their face. This is a very simple and effective way to give your face a ‘chiseled model-like’ appearance without any surgery or downtime.
