An introduction to lip fillers by Dr Yasmin Albeyatti.
What are dermal fillers for lips?
Dermal fillers are made from naturally occurring Hyaluronic acid. When injected into the correct areas of the lips, they can make the lips look fuller, plumper and more youthful.
Dermal fillers can also be used to balance proportion sizes between upper and lower lips or in many cases improve lip asymmetries that many people suffer from.
What to expect from your appointment?
A full consultation takes place to assess what the main concern is. A full facial assessment is completed to assess the concern and how best to address it and the best method to achieve the desired effect. The procedure, aftercare instructions, and costs are explained to the patient before we begin.
The skin is cleaned thoroughly first followed by numbing cream to make the treatment is more comfortable. The treatment is effective immediately allowing the patient to enjoy their new fuller lips straight away!
